The Academy Brass Quintet
The Academy Brass Quintet (ABQ), formed in June 1994, is a prominent brass ensemble based in Northwest Ohio. Comprised of talented musicians from the Toledo area, the ABQ aims to share the joy of brass music through an annual concert series and vibrant performances across diverse venues. Their reputation as a premier ensemble has been solidified through captivating concerts at locations like Maumee Bay State Park, the Toledo Museum of Art, and features on WGTE FM 91.3. With a diverse repertoire spanning Baroque, Classical, Jazz, Pop, Big Band, and 20th-century music, the ABQ offers a dynamic listening experience for all.

The Woodward String Quartet, formed by Principal musicians from the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, blends chemistry, pedigree, and vision to create daring and joyful chamber music performances. Each member brings impressive accolades, including prizes in national and international competitions, collaborations with renowned artists, and performances with major orchestras and festivals. As active educators, they teach at prestigious institutions and participate in summer festivals worldwide. Passionate about education, they offer unique coaching experiences that combine chamber music with orchestral insights and leadership skills. Their dynamic programming features works by living and underrepresented composers, providing audiences with an engaging and collaborative musical experience.
